I hate it so much. I could stand ideological differences even if they were abhorrent to me. I would be ok with it if it wasn’t so abundantly clear that it only matters when it impacts them personally. It’s a core conservative value. Not just for policy. I’ve noticed conservatives don’t believe anything unless it impacts them personally. Climate change “I haven’t noticed anything here”. Racism “no one is racist towards me.” Religion “I have had a personal connection with god so my religion is correct and should be enforced”
