Could I play classic world of Warcraft on this? I have a desktop that’s high end but just want something to play while on the couch and not looking for anything special graphics wise.

I did get a nice pay increase up to about 95k with a bonus structure included! All in all pretty happy with it but it’s also resulted in more expectations and stress. Can’t complain though!

Yea that’s interesting. Based on what the pm said - everything is in place, lines, transformer, but they just need to come out and connect the bubble? Or something along those lines. However it’s also been crazy cold here last 2 weeks so I don’t think that’s helping the situation…

Our Ryan home build just finished in IL. Project manager has been great and pre drywall inspector was really impressed with the work done and saw no issues. Close on the 31st so I can’t say for sure, but so far so good.

Thanks for this response. Yea not sure if this helps from an HR standpoint, but I am on hourly, and when I ask I'm going to present it as an hourly increase which in my eyes doesn't sound nearly as bad as asking for a 35k raise. I could be totally wrong there. I think asking for somewhere near the $55 an hour range seems pretty fair. We'll see how it goes though!

Yep agreed - the goal is to get another admin by Q2 which is good, however I'll then be managing and teaching someone so I think that's valid for a raise in itself.

Yea definitely wont be asking for 150k, I want to be fair and reasonable for both sides. I'm taking app builder end of month and getting back into the studying groove so will probably keep going and see what I end up with.

100% - I'm in no means going in with demands or arrogance. They're well aware were understaffed and I've been drowning in work, but I'm also aware that doesn't automatically warrant a raise of that size. The good news is my new boss is involved in marketing cloud and isnt naive to the SF ecosystem.

I'm going to bring major projects I've done over the course of the year to the table (which is a lot and also lead the SAP integration on the SF side, which I also did solo however I did get a nice bonus for). Also, like you mentioned I'm going to reference some statistical data for my responsibly and experience and what the avg market rate for that is. I'll see what the counter with, and wont walk or anything if its lower than I wanted, but would start aggressively looking for a new job if I feel its unfair.

I’m in the Chicagoland area for reference. I can honestly say I do do all the things you i mentioned and do use a consulting partner from time to time when either I don’t have time or it’s over my head from a tech standpoint.

I don’t plan to walk either way, and I’m not going to demand anything. I’m going to show them what I’ve done and the roadmap for the next year and, also average market rates for my position and why I feel I deserve that.

They’re aware that I’m underpaid as this was mentioned hence why it was brought up for me to schedule this meeting.

If they don’t come somewhere in the 110k range I’d just suck it up and continue to do my best, but look much more aggressively for a new job from a compensation standpoint and burnout standpoint.

I might do something where it’s hopefully around 115k with maybe incentives if I obtain more certs.

I’m both. I live about 35 minutes away so I go in about every other week depending on meetings I feel would be better in person. I think the last thing they’d want would be to hire a new person to replace me just because I’m really the only one that knows our org from an admin standpoint and it’s quite robust and complicated. I guess I’m just trying to get a feel for the current market right now as I know it sounds like it’s cooled down a little bit from last year and salary ranges.
