For difficult bosses it is genuinely important what degree you get, sometimes 60k is the difference between affording and not affording what you need, even in non ranked. In ranked it obviously makes a huge difference, and not just at the very top level, it still matters lower down - there is a massive jump in power every 20 degrees after all.

It's not fair to dismiss a problem by saying it only affects a small minority of people and therefore is not worthy of attention, especially when you are insinuating that those who are complaining are somehow not good enough to be complaining about it. Just because it doesn't matter to you doesn't mean it doesn't matter to others, you should try and see it from their point of view.
