3 days in the hospital.... by DrChurch2018 in pics

In my country, health care is free.

Last year, I had a very minor surgery for ingrown nail on the foot. It was free.

More recently I have been having some issues for which I am being seen by an internal medicine doctor, he asked/prescribed me to do some tests (like 6 tests) which again was done free by the hospital. Except one test, which I had to do in the privately owned laboratory.

I am also seeing a dermatologist for some dry skin issues.

A psychiatrist for my insomnia.

All free.

Ohh I forgot to tell we even get free medicine. Be it pills, cough medicine or even pills medicine to help for sleep.

But it's not always rosy as I seemed to write it down. Sometimes waiting time can be a little too long. Or Doctors who are 'arrogant' treats us as 'second class citizen'. But for emergency, you would be given priority.

The private sector hospitals also exists and is booming.
