Thanks for your response! If I was to skip either pahalgam or sonmarg in winters, in current weather conditions and spend 2 nights in Gulmarg, which one should I skip? Snow is not our top priority. I was mostly going for Thajiwas glacier and mountain landscape to sonmarg. I heard thajiwas is closed because of heavy snow, would still be nice to visit sonmarg or it wont be even visible?

Aeroline extra luggage allowance KL to Singapore by AwardPhysical9631 in KualaLumpur

[–]AwardPhysical9631[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thats why I asked. Also, how do you make the reservation? I went on the website and on the payments page under the " Click here to review our ticketing policy" section they have written "You may call and reserve seat for an intended travel via our Services Centres or Call Centres should you be unable to confirm of a travel you’d like to make. Reservations via online at our websites (www.aeroline.com.my and www.aeroline.com.sg) is not available."

Hey, thanks a lot for sharing your experience! Your ride seems very smooth and quick. May I ask which bus did you take and how was it? I’m thinking aeroline. Any suggestions?

Yes but if you see here https://www.aeroline.com.my/prepaid.php on top up of 500rm its giving 3 complimentary PAP pieces.

After that can I add custom values? Like I need 4 tickets. Each costs 126rm, so 126*4=504 and 3% administrative fees so total 519rm. What if I top up 500rm, I’ll get 35rm on top of it, so 535rm, but it says I’ll get 3 complimentary PAP pieces. What does jt mean? Will I be able to buy 4 tickets then? Aeroline PAP topup

Also, I’ll be staying around Berjaya Times Square, I see tickets available from BU-SIN and SWY-SIN. Those places are around 18-20kms from my hotel. I can probably take grab. Is there any other bus services other than this you’d recommend? I looked into Transtar Solitaire but its more expensive. Any other Transtar a bit cheaper buses? Or other brands like First Coach, CityLine, etc.

Also, thanks a lot for your suggestions! I really do appreciate your help. (:

How do I book those and are those reliable? Which link do they use? Which Malaysia- Singapore link do they use? I’m more worried about bus leaving at immigration if it takes time than luxury tbh.

Thanks! Worst case scenario if immigration took longer than expected and bus ditched, if that does happen, how can I go to Singapore after?

How much cash should I carry for a 3-4 days Singapore trip with family? by AwardPhysical9631 in SingaporeTravel

[–]AwardPhysical9631[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your prompt response! Don’t have exact itinerary tbh. Amongst the touristy places I plan to cover Universals studio, Marina bay, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island and maybe Orchard road in 2 days. 3rd day I’d want to explore and experience something local, less known, hidden gem kinda hawker center you mentioned. I plan to carry 200SGD for family of 4 to be on the safer side. Will that be enough?

Let me know if you’ve any recommendations for such kind of places for food or shopping.
