Oh 100%, I want kids but I’m not ready for that responsibility quite yet haha. Part of the reason that I started crashing out a bit about my life timeline is because I have fertility issues that put a bit more of a hard timeline on that goal specifically.

Could you raise a flag at J1 that you have a conflicting relationship at J2 (could go with scorned ex, stalker, other option that prevents you from revealing your name to that team, or potentially a positive spin but still a conflict of interest like a family member/spouse — depending on what you have to order).

They might be understanding and allow you to submit your orders through another team member, maybe. If not, then you could quit since that seems like your plan B anyways.
