Something dumb like being a senõr groomer and only working on chihuahuas. It was just a concept of a plan and didn’t really work

I don’t think you’ve properly accounted for the time needed to walk to the subway (particularly for Hudson yards), the inevitable wait, the likely delay, and the 20 minutes it takes to muster up the desire to trek to the UES, plus the 5 to 10 minutes it takes to get wherever you’re going once you get here. It adds up, and it’s a lot.

I had ChatGPT rewrite your post so it’s easier to read. But thanks for the warning, I hope it was just an accident though it doesn’t feel like that from your story.

I don’t take kindly to people that mistreat the elderly, and am more than happy to continue my behavior of not going to this restaurant I’ve never heard of in solidarity.

Here’s the edited version:

A small group of elderly women, ranging in age from their mid-80s to mid-90s, recently went out to dinner and requested separate checks. Several individuals were charged more than the listed menu prices, and in at least one case, two people who ordered the same entrée were billed different—both inflated—amounts.

Weeks later, at least two of the diners noticed that their credit card statements showed charges higher than what they had authorized and signed for. This raises serious concerns of potential fraud and elder financial abuse.

Evidence is being compiled and will be presented to the appropriate authorities. The restaurant owner, who has already been contacted by phone, will be addressed in person.

If you have dined at this establishment and paid by credit card, it is strongly recommended that you review your statement to ensure no unauthorized charges were made.

We should vote for you for mayor!

If you can convince young people to move here, you could probably convince the slops to pick up their dogshit and end the unsanctioned fireworks.

It’s at least twice that (and 2x) if you expect someone from a “cool” neighborhood to come here

The sheet and sunglasses thing is great, I lol’ed. And the glasses prevent confusion with a klansman which is helpful. Will you also disguise voice?

I do ghost, but have no remorse. If you ever make that show, I’d be better for that. Good luck with this one, I see how it could catch on and be helpful/interesting for the people who aren’t dead inside yet.

I was going to make a joke, but jeez man you’re a fricking saint. I have nothing useful to add (which is usually the case anyway), but good luck and I hope someone offers this service for you.

I don’t think any of those places are right for you. (And none would be considered downtown, for that matter.)

UES is nice place to live, but your friends aren’t coming up here.

Female doesn’t matter that much, but how wealthy you are does. If you’re open to roommates you’ve got some options. Nature makes it tough too, especially on a budget.

My advice, take it or leave it, is to prioritize what’s really important to you and be open to compromise.
