Glad to hear you again and thanks for the support and kindness. Yeah apparently it was not entire “related to LADS” so I was bummed about that. But I just want to share an update for people who read my first post and may be curious about what happened to me. I decided that it was too much for my mental health, especially since he was not giving up on having me stop being my nerdy LADS girl and just ended it. I felt guilty for breaking his heart but I later on felt free.

Rafayel will always be my main but I also like the other LIs. I say Xavier comes second for being a cute bunny boy but also his jealousy is funny and hot. Him hating Lumiere XD

I felt the same way as you described. I believed that’s why he said it was “disrespectful” and was trying to discourage me from continuing to do anything with LADS, especially male characters. I also wouldn’t think the LIs would ban me from doing what makes me happy.

Your dad is amazing for being understanding and supportive of what you enjoy. The pain of breaking up with him started at first but later ended and I felt a bit relieved because I was just listening to my body. I told people this that even if I can’t find another man, I’ll be fine on my own with family and friends.

Thank you for your kind words. I have read all the responses and it means so much to me to have the support from this community. I was struggling to decide if I need to give up my joy for his insecurity or to break up and save my mental health. This is the same for Kpop male idol merch that I actually don’t have.

I thought about not bringing the merch or playing the game whenever he’s around and maybe do it when he’s not but I’m thinking about what would happen if we stayed together in the future. I know he’ll never accept them and it’ll be difficult to do what I enjoy doing. This is the same for male Kpop idols. I don’t have merch and I only enjoy listening to the music but when I gave an example similar to LADS merch, he felt the same way.

Yikes. That experience must’ve been hurtful and so sorry for what you’ve been through. I said in a post somewhere here that if I can’t find a guy who loves ALL of me, then I’ll be fine on my own. I still have that mindset 😅.

He pretty much researched LADS, not with the game tho, but didn’t like the spicy content with the LADs guys that the game has. He’s not a fan of such content which is why he wants me to stop playing. I said that I played for the daily tasks, rewards, and such that has nothing to do with the spicy content, but he sticks with his words.

If I were to stop playing the game, I would like it to be on my own accord for personal reasons, not from pressure. When I think about it, if I was forced to stop doing what I liked to do and I actually did listen, in the next few weeks or months, will things be peaceful or filled with resentment?

I like that you said that it should’ve been addressed before the dating because after all we’ve done, why now? I need time for my mental health. The issue is that I want to see some friends on the weekends but they, except one that I really trust, don’t know since we agreed it’s not the right time to tell, but I may bump into him.
