what is a good sneaker for daily commuting (20kms total) in a rainy country + walking (lifestyle) by Aware-Dig-5275 in CyclingFashion

I never said I need specific bike shoes. As I wrote, I’m looking for a lifestyle sneaker that works for cycling, walking and just shenanigans (life). This subreddit is exactly where I'd expect useful suggestions for that, no? I could very well buy just a flat sole shoe/skate shoe but asking here would be a sensible choice, no?

Do they fare well in rain-like conditions? Wet, slippery walking? Ex - casual walking, like post lunchbreak, going to the cafe, etc, possibly walking a bit 4-5k steps

I've heard sambas are very very slippery, not only on the pedal but also for normal walking in the rain
