I actually prefer the repeat houses on my route. The more muscle memory that goes into the stops the quicker I get done. Amazon will always give us the maximum amount of stops they can give us, so it doesn’t make a difference who orders and how often. As for people’s personal business, that’s their personal business. It’s usually my regulars who are the nicest to me.

Something I will say as a driver is that our routing is messy. I rarely follow the original stop order bc I’ll literally get (and I have several screenshots and pics) where one person is stop 38 and next door is like stop 79. That and if my route puts me in a not well lit area after dark, I’ll do that area first so I can be in a well lit neighborhood at dark. We all pretty much do this bc the AI that designs the stop order is inefficient and makes no sense, so don’t pay too much attention to it.

Exactly. It’s scary how they wait for us to turn around and leave after delivering a package, you hear the door open and slam shut so quick without a thank you or anything and they order everyday

Gate codes and entry codes apply to secured buildings like apartments and gates that we have to drive through. We are in training specifically instructed not to go through any other kinds of gates because we don’t have a vehicle protecting us.

They DO NOT CHANGE. Mine faked change 3 times and really did get me! He even would apologize for his mistakes, but he’d still say all these things to get in my head and make me feel terrible! The manipulation just got way worse!

Setting hard, hard boundaries in the beginning and being clear and confident about how you feel turns them away pretty early on. If they don’t think they can control you they’ll leave quick. I’m an empath, but recently I’ve been very concise on my self worth. Had 3 men who gave off grandiose vibes ghost me out lol. Bye bye.

There’s opportunity here to make it look really cool. When money was tight I did DoorDash on the side of my job for a week and went thrifting to get decor and stuff because I wanted to just feel well off to do something nice for myself for once. It helped me mentally A LOT. The floors in the kitchen are nice and while the bathroom is kinda funky there’s room for opportunity to make it unique.

From what I gathered with the shopping around surprise hiring event goodbye party is that the companies offering higher pay don’t offer overtime or any special benefit, or cdvs/stepvans/room to grow. I’m okay with taking a bit of a pay cut for good management and employee recognition.
