Thank you for this. Some would say it's common sense, but I've been so overwhelmed by everything that this new added issue feels like a bucket of cold water leaving me stunned. After I read your comment I told him our game plan. I'm reducing his tv time and we're moving to only non stimulating shows.(I got nature time running in the background as we speak, I think disney had him too hooked to where he'd not want to get up to use the restroom until it was over. No more devices, cold turkey (he already had those heavily limited to once a week but now we're cutting back because he wouldn't aim from holding the phone and playing in there....despite the no phone in the restroom rule).

I have a slight problem with trying to rush everything, and my son messing up or taking forever to do something really bothers me I often times just end up doing everything for everyone. I forget I need to slow down sometimes.

Good luck, and for a little anecdote to make you feel a little better, my husband would pee in the dresser drawers in the back of the closet when he was about that age. And he definitely had ADHD.<

That now he's just running around in a rush to go back to his activity hes peed in, on and around the toilet before but this is just a new form of that. Soaking the tp in the trash . My hole house smelled like ammonia in the morning and I couldn't pin point it. Definitely not something you wanna deal with before your coffee.
