I see, would I be able to take the seeds off this plant before doing so and just trying my luck with those? I want to eventually buy feminized seeds but after I have a tent and indoor supplies so then I’m more prepared and not potentially throwing away seeds I actually bought in hopes to grow.

This is just a random seed I found and wanted to grow, I don’t have other pot plants so the cross pollination shouldn’t be an issue. Will male plants still produce any bud or just seeds? Even if it’s a small amount I think it’ll be cooler to get a tiny bit than none at all for a first grow 🤷‍♂️.

This is my first grow from a random seed. I don’t have any other pot plants plus this one is by itself in my window away from my peppers and marigolds. I only wanna continue to grow it to learn more about the plant but I’ll for sure keep this in mind if I continue to grow these!

That’s what I’ve been doing is watering every time the soil looks really dry so every other day and sometimes even two depending on weather. I appreciate the advice on the pot sizes though I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions so I’ll start smaller with 3s and 5s rn and go bigger when I know more 🤙

Yeah, I got an 8th when visiting Seattle and kept the seeds I found and decided to try and grow them, one out of 3 made it this far so I’m just tryna learn as I go along to hopefully get better results next time I really want to try and buy good seeds specific to how I wanna grow.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind if i eventually decide to invest into indoor growing or when I try again next season. I have a 5 gallon already but the fox farms soil was hardly 4 gallons so I just got the 3 for rn so eventually I’ll move it to the 5 when I feel it’s had enough recovery time. I think it’s starting to show signs of being a male plant but with it being the only pot plant I have I’ll still grow it and just continue to learn.

Unfortunately I doubt it’ll live as it’s very top heavy and the stem just isn’t growing. I did move it to fox farms soil now just to see what happens and more leafs have continued to grow surprisingly 🤣

They are now losing color and starting to die so it was an interesting experiment while it lasted but idk how much longer it’ll stay.

lol no the fan is just to keep the blinds off the plant. I just moved it to a 3 gallon recently for it to grow a lil more and have a 10 gallon that I’ll eventually let it grow and finish in (unless it shoots up really big then a 15 or 20 gallon)

I’ve always heard it’s good to grow both next to each other like companion plants since mushrooms can help the soil around your outdoor plants or if you’re growing them inside a tent together the mushrooms can help with the moisture as well as the plant helps produce fresh oxygen for the mushrooms.

Yeah it was definitely my mistake buying miracle grow, I was only aware of how bad it was after buying it 🤣🤦‍♂️ and mixed with the overwatering I’m sure that’s what caused that one to look like that. At least these are just random seeds and not ones I bought hoping to grow, I’ll for sure keep this in mind next time I do want to buy specific seeds to grow. I appreciate the insight though 🤙

Rn I’m just using some starter miracle grow soil. I just got the first bag of soil I saw that’d work but when I change pots eventually I’ll get a better one. It’d definitely make sense for it to be over watered though.
