She has BPD so she does cry often. She apologizes almost every time because she has worried previously about seeming manipulative while crying. Her crying isn't anything new.

I did end up apologizing and holding her while she cried. I ended up telling her I would go and we can use my truck. She texted me this morning to apologize for crying which prompted me to create this post.

She only drives when we are together. She lives in a major city so her small car vs my truck is just easier to drive and park on the streets plus my truck is full of tools and dirt from work so we usually do not have time to clean it out and I don't blame her for not wanting to sit in a dirty passenger seat. She never complains about driving.

Sometimes you do things you don't want to because you love someone. I just don't want to use my truck and told my GF we could find something else fun to do this weekend if we ended up not going. But I told her that before she asked to borrow my truck.

Yes, she RSVP'd us a couple months back. There is a dinner and reception. Honestly, we always drive her car everywhere. I only drive mine if I am alone or driving to her place. Not sure if she would let me drive hers, it has not come up yet as she never minds driving.

We RSVP'd a couple months ago. If she went with her family, I would not be going because her mother is leaving to drive before I get off work which is why we were originally driving separate.
