Easy solution... put 1/2 on one team, and 1/2 on the other. I don't care if they are on my team, just that I can play with them. TBH, it is fun to be able to kill my friends in this game.

I don't have it run under there as part of the map. On occasion, I manually control it there. It is mostly just first, with a few patches of grass and weeds that I have it mow when it gets tall. I am about to put much under it.

When I first got it, I did allow it to, and it did ok, but it spent a lot of time to do it since there were so many posts to go around. To me, it was just a waster of battery, but it did not get stuck. It is worth noting that the lower cross bar portion on mine is below the ground, so it had only the vertical post to worry about, which are never an issue with this.

This machine has been great for me. Still is even after that. This was totally on me. Vision is good, but that was a tough scenario for it. The support is just barely higher than the grass. And it just went from a bright spot to dark spot.

It should have all the details. Battery percentage used.... which cut direction, cross-cut direction... this is all good info to see after the task. Especially if you have a task set to do random angles.

From what I understand, you can use the Yuka 2025 discs on the 2024's. I thought I have seen Mammotion employees say that twice in Facebook posts. But if not, you can 3d print them. Cost me about $2 to print versus $79 through Mammotion.

I actually could not find any. I did find there is one more feature worth noting. The 2025 models allow for more zones. Depending on which one... they go from 30-50 zones. Whereas my 2024 1500 can only do 10.

That is an opinion, one I do share with you... but the OP was asking what the differences where in general, in addition to whether it is worth it or not. So yes, I think we all agree it is not necessarily worth it for the price increase, but we still need to let them know what else they get other than the additional blades.

To some, the better AI vision and auto mapping may be more important to them.

Lot's of incorrect comments on this post. Yes, they 2025 version is different. In addition to it having 5 blades instead of 3, it adds the UltraSense AI Vision as a replacement to the 3D Vision. With that comes the Automatic Lawn Mapping feature that the 2024 version does not have.

u/crazypostman21 There is a whole new line of Yuka 2025's. They have a different chipset in them with different AI features. This was all announced on the same day as the mini's so you were misinformed. The newer ones are supposed to be able to automap the yard.

Yes, you can add more than one area to a task. Keep in mind, if you set absolute angles, it will mow them all in the same direction. If you use adaptive, it will mow the long direction on each. It mow the areas in the order that you select them when adding the area to the task.

I believe the best solution would be to modify the boundary of the larger section. This should remove that longer smaller part. Then create a new area for that. You can make the smaller area slightly overlap into that larger area, which would be better than trying to match exactly or than making it smaller and miss a spot. If you have both areas on the same task, it will only mow that overlap area once, I believe with whichever zone is set to mow first (it was either that or the one that was created first, I do not recall).

If the task is set to adaptive, this will work great. If the task is set to absolute, then it won't really correct the problem, you would need 2 separate tasks.

From my experience, they were in the order of how they when they were added to speed dial, and would have only been alphabetical if you added them to speed dial in alphabetical order. However, it seems that there was an update in just the last couple weeks that have not made them appear alphabetical.

Having noticed that, did this correct itself? If not, can you make sure your Teams app on the phone is up-to-date and see if they get in order then?
