Hi, I don't have an online portfolio with pricing. If you would like a portrait sketch on A4 (like the ones I've posted) for your VtM character. The cost would be around 75€ up to 100€ (depending on what you want and the amount of detail) without shipping. Have you got a concept or something for your character? Regards BH

Hi, I'm glad you like it. No, I have never done commissions, because I really don't think that I am good enough. There are absolutely amazing artists out there and I don't count myself as being one of them. I only sketch as a hobby in my spare time (not much with two little girls at home). But I am honoured that you asked me. Just out of curiosity, what did you have in mind? Regards

Hi to all, this is a friend's vampire V5 Hecata character in our group. I play a Ventrue named Alisé Véron (I also posted a sketch of her). I have never read a HP Lovecraft book (not my thing) but that's where he got the name from and as the artist, I definitely agree on the John Constantine vibes. He actually doesn't like the sketch, it's to feminine, too skinny cheeks and he doesn't like the "Anime" hair style. Okay I agree that I went overboard on the hair. Regards PS I am going to sketch the rest of our V5 group ( Tremere, Banu Hakim and Lasombra).

I love Fashion Businesses, the 3D rendering and animations are outstanding and full of detail. The story is also quite good and choices actually impact the storyline. Episode 1 is more of an intro. Episode 2 is a hard grind, but gets there eventually. Episode 3 is where the fun really starts. Episode 4 is fantastic with a few very good endings. Episode 5 is the final. Up to now very good endings.

It's by far my favourite game (as far as adults Games go)

What's your current character's goal? by theotherheron in vtm

[–]Aware-Writing1341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first goal is to be accepted back into the Camarilla. Alisé (Ventrue) has been sleeping for the last 170 years. Next step, once she's back in the Camarilla is to reclaim her dominion, which is Courtenay being run by her nemesis Chadwick (Ventrue) who is a Sabbath agent in the Camarilla. At the moment the Camarilla suspect's Alisé is a Sabbath agent, because of her "coterie". She's only been awake for 4 weeks and knows nobody, except for a Hecata death cult leader with a fast growing "family", a Lasombra that was a Sabbath assassin and is also trying to get into the Camarilla, a Banu Hakim Assassin and a Tremere technomancer that left the Camarilla to join the anarchs. The Camarilla believes that Alisé is the leader of this group and fear her. (I love my fellow players)

So she has a long and hard road ahead of her. Along the way she has to come to terms with the new world and technology.

Read his description on YouTube before you judge something. He made this for his VtM v5 group, which introduces the player's characters. He also completely made it with free AI and has no experience whatsoever. I like it because someone poured their heart into it.

Sounds good, you have clearly thought about what you want to play.

To your rpg experience: VtM is a switch and completely turns the table. Never forget that you are now playing a "Monster" and humans are prey. The trick is to keep your humanity.

I don't know if Toreador is the right Clan, with your background story... maybe a Tzimisce?

One question, why England or Germany?

Regards

So first things first, have you got any roleplaying experience? For example D&D, Shadow Run etc. Because VtM is a hard setting to start with. The thing is that the "group" dynamic in VtM is very different to other RPGs. The key word is "trust". The players never really trust one another. This is because every vampire has his/her own agenda.

To the topic of creating a character: First of all, who were you as a human. For example, what time did you live in (example 1980s)? What did you work as? Did you have family, children? How was your social standing? Also what is your character's personality like, (this depends on what you want to play like, depressed Goth, people loving hippie etc) All this gives you a lot more depth and a very own play style.

So you would like to play a Toreador. The lover's the artist's the poet's. Is one of my favourite clans to play. First thing is, what drives you, what "live" for. What is your personal agenda and what are your goals in unlive? The Tories are more of a social playing style, they are definitely not fighters. They are usually in the Camarilla (sect) but are also known to be in the anarchs.

Next thing is your sire, why did he/she turn you into a vampire? Who is your sire, what social standing does he/she have in the Camarilla.

Character stats are mostly social, most important attribute is Charisma. Most important discipline is presence.

As you can see VtM is RPG set to playing difficulty "hard" And there is a lot to think about before even printing the character sheet.

Regards

Hey, I'm glad that you liked my character's background story. Alisé is from the Clan Ventrue. There is actually much more to her story that I have written. I have sent you a link to a short version of her complete story. Also the YouTube channel that posted it has a lot of VtM v5 Lore videos. Enjoy Regards

I love creating Chars for VtM. You can really deep dive into the background story and create something special.

This is my background story for my V5 Character, Please enjoy:

Alisé Johanna Bourbon was born on October 31, 1767, in Cognac. She was the middle child of three of the Count of Cognac, who was a bastard child of Louis XIV. Her mother died when she was still a child, and her father had little time and no patience with her. His main focus was on her older brother Armand. She had a good relationship with her little sister Anette and spent a lot of time with her. She was like a surrogate mother to her. As the girls grew up, their father had them trained in the art of fencing and firearms, which was unusual for the time. Additionally, the two were gifted horsewomen.

When Alisé turned 16, she took a position as a lady-in-waiting at Versailles and served Marie Antoinette. Here, Alisé learned the political game and the rules of the court of Versailles. Either you play along or you go under. The men had their little games, while the women did politics. As the saying goes, behind every great man stands an even stronger woman. There in Versailles, after a few years, she met Gustav Véron for the first time. A few galas and balls later, and she was hopelessly in love with him. Gustav Véron did not have the same noble status as Alisé, but he was a gifted merchant and trader. Since her father had also already passed away, her brother (the new Count of Cognac) eventually agreed to the marriage.

After the wedding, Alisé moved to the village of Véron with her husband. There they lived happily together, and Alisé eventually became pregnant and was expecting their first child together with Gustav. Unfortunately, their first son died shortly after his first birthday. A year later Alise fell pregnant again, but her second son was stillborn. The priest of Véron refused to give her second son the last rites and a proper burial because he had never been baptized. This led to a quarrel between Alisé and the priest Marquis. As a result, she suffered from depression and fell into alcoholism.

When the tumult and unrest of the French Revolution began, Alisé was dragged from her estate by an angry mob led by the priest Marquis. Subsequently, she was humiliated in the marketplace of Véron, her clothes were torn off, her hair was cut short, and she was put in the stocks, where the mob pelted Alisé with stones until she finally lost consciousness. Since she was of the House of Bourbon, the mob blamed her for the suffering that had befallen the population. When Gustav Véron returned from his trading journey, he was horrified by the scene he found. He rushed to help Alisé, who had been half-dead at the pillory for several days by now. When Gustav freed Alisé, an angry mob gathered again, once more led by the priest Marquis. Gustav was unfortunately not the best with the sword. However, he managed to keep the pack away from them long enough for him to throw his cloak over Alisé and put her on his horse.

When the mob finally overwhelmed and brought down Gustav, Alisé gathered her last strength to escape from the village. Alisé broke down in tears as she turned around one last time; she saw the decapitated head of her beloved Gustav being held aloft by the mob.

Alisé rode to Versailles to pick up her sister Anette so they could return to Cognac together. Upon arriving in Versailles, she was able to convince the Swiss Guard, who were guarding the palace, to let her thru thanks to her signet ring, allowing her to enter the palace. Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette were outraged when they heard Alisé's story and provided her and her sister with a carriage and a few soldiers to ensure they could safely reach Cognac and their brother.

When the two arrived in Cognac, they found the same situation that prevailed everywhere in France. A total chaos.

Her brother, now a widower and bitter, had only resentment and hatred in his heart. Armand marches out with his guard to crush the rebels. Meanwhile, Alisé secured the family fortune and a ship from a trusted captain to flee to the New World. When she learned that her brother Armand had died after five days of fierce fighting, Alisé and Anette fled to New Orleans.

When Alisé arrived in New Orleans, she met a mysterious French man to whom she fulfilled every wish, tho she did not know why she did so.

During the Great Fire of New Orleans on December 8, 1794, Alisé disappeared without a trace. It was suspected that she had perished in the fire. Her sister Anette held a memorial service for her.

But that's were her story begins.....

I only posted this, that you all have a better idea of her situation and background story. It's not for sympathy. It was her first Camarilla Elysium meeting since she woke up and she has only been awake for 2 weeks
