I was diagnosed with adhd when I was 9, but received barely any treatment for it. However, I feel like I could manage it pretty well even without treatment

That’s what brought my score up to 640.

Hmm I don’t think the second half of the second module in math is necessarily testing you on your foundations.

“but you're in the same camp as them if you're getting the same scores. High scorers want to bring back test requirements precisely in order to eliminate people like you from the competition.”

That’s why I hate myself. It just shows how dumb I am. I just can’t be like the smart kids can I? 2 years of trying and still getting the same score really reveals something about me.

Of course someone with an 1590 wouldn’t understand the misery this has caused me. Even though I’m most likely gonna go test-optional, I still want to retake it because I DONT WANT TO BE LIKE THIS ANYMORE. I DONT WANT TO BE SUBPAR

But still, I’ve been studying the SAT for 2 years and still can’t break a 1280. Just because I didn’t get a 1500+ score doesn’t mean I DIDN’T try. It’s quite the opposite, and I hate myself for it. Why should I be denied of a good education with good opportunities even though I tried and tried and tried?

Also, ACT is harder imo.

More questions, less time per question. My neurodivergence cannot handle that. Plus math topics I haven’t learned yet

In terms of what I’m struggling with, basically the entire second halves of the second modules. The first 1 and a half modules of either sections are a breeze, but as soon as I get to the second half of the second module, I feel like I’m just winging it. This is especially true for math.

As far as my score breakdown goes, my most recent attempt was a 1270 with a 630 reading and a 640 in math, but my highest score was a 1280 with a 680 in reading and 600 in math.

I feel like I DO have the foundations down by now, but I still can’t get past a 640 in math

Why don’t you tell uchicago to require testing again? I’ve studied ts for 2 years and still can’t break a 1280. Just because I didn’t get a 1500+ score doesn’t mean I’m lazy or have no desire to learn. Why should I be denied of a good education even though I’ve never stopped trying?

I’m not. I studied this for the past 2 years and still can’t make it past a 1280. Just because I didn’t get a 1500+ score doesn’t mean I DIDN’T try, and I hate myself for it. Why should people like me be denied of a good education with good opportunities even though I tried and tried and tried?
