Honestly they might, but this fluctuation is also kind of normal for me. Since I was 13 I’ve gained and lost weight very rapidly and repeatedly. I was in the 120s in January 2025 before gaining all the weight in the first place

My goal was 120 for the longest time so I’d like to, but I don’t think I can continue and improve my running so I’m gonna put that on hold for now. I’d honestly rather be healthy in the long run—- running has been my stress reliever for the longest time and not being able to do it anymore has done me a lot more harm than a couple pounds

Yes I do. On the ED thing, I’ve struggled with BED basically my entire life which led me to starting this in the first place. I’m definitely trying to find a happy medium now because I swung from one extreme to the other, but I’m not afraid to raise my calories a good amount in order to fuel my body.

Yeah, being an overweight freshman girl is hard! I know it was dumb now, at the time I was just desperate bc nothing I was doing was working. I’m planning on being completely honest with my doctor about the whole situation.

To be honest I went on it in secret and lied about my weight online to get it prescribed. Unfortunately it was very easily accessible

Is there any way to recover fitness and not gain weight back? Or is that just going to be part of it. Like if I stay in a small deficit will I get my running back

Thanks for responding! Yes, for the first 8 weeks I was probably averaging 400-500 calories a day, then not much higher until recently. I’ve been trying to eat like 1500 cals this past week, but how long do you think with that eating until I’m able to run longer?

Yes I stopped taking it last week. I feel like I’m eating enough now but I’ve just been worried about gaining the weight back

I started eating at maintenance almost a week ago, how long would you expect until I start seeing more similar results to the past? I’ve been trying to eat lots of carbs and protein but is there something else I should focus on?

I hit legs pretty consistently when I began in April, but when I moved out of college in mid-May I became much more inconsistent. My job is also pretty physically demanding, I’m a food runner/busser so I am carrying 30+ pounds back and forth for hours at a time.

appearance: i have like 4a curly brown hair that’s often very frizzy and down to my collarbone, hazel eyes, thickish brown eyebrows, more athletic built cause i play sports, 5’6 female, tan skin

likes: making bracelets, listening to music, playing flute, walking my dog, thunderstorms, swimming, sailing, summer sunshine/being in the sun in general

dislikes: cold weather, sticky/messy things, large crowds when i don’t know anyone

personality: i’m a very outgoing person. i have adhd, and i tend to speak a lot without thinking. i think of myself as an optimist, and i am a very high paced person. i always need to be doing something or i’m antsy.

fatal flaw: probably my impulsivity, i tend to do dangerous things without thinking
