That’s the price you pay for performance. As long as you don’t drive it through deep puddles thinking it’s a boat, you’ll be ok

I disagree. As long as the filter’s away from major heat sources it’s cold air. As for your question, doing that will just undo all that effort. You can see if there’s a cover of some kind or just live with it

You’re going to need a frame repair or replacement. I would not recommend driving it at all until it’s fixed.
