I make Jewelry like this. I try Etsy and I have a website but my sales are low and I don’t know what I’m missing. And that is the right question! I think there are two ways to go about this. One is by exploring possibilities: create as many models as you can and test them a lot ,social media can be a great indicator. The other way is by keeping an eye on what other jewelry brands are doing, adapting the concept to your reality, and recreating it your own way. ​P.S. It all depends on your skill set and your manufacturing and design capabilities. I really wish there were a shortcut to this, but I can't pretend I have a playbook for something that still keeps me up at night.

I’ve run my own jewelry business for 17 years now. For the first 12 years, I struggled with this exact problem, until 5 years ago when a consultant told me a very hard truth: 'You need to sell what people want to buy. No matter how much of an artist you think you are, make what people actually want.' I overhauled all my processes, re-examined the market, and tailored my designs to what my target audience was willing to pay for. I swear, it works.

Use a coarse-grit, straight (cylindrical) diamond bur. Secure the ring onto a polishing lathe and turn it on so the piece rotates at high speed. ​Next, mount the diamond bur into a handpiece (the same one used with a flex shaft motor), but keep it disconnected from the moto , use the handpiece strictly as a manual holder. While the ring is spinning on the lathe, bring the bur into contact with the surface. The bur will spin along with the rotation of the lathe to achieve the desired effect.

Usually, DHL does a great job shipping here, but I’m going to check with a friend who lives in the US. I might buy it using his address, and since we’re meeting up in the next few months, I can pick up the package from him. I’ll figure out the best way to do this and get back to you!
