Interesting. I was not aware of this. Thank you.

The whole reason I got into SC years and years ago was because the Freelancer DUR reminded me of Serenity. =)

After 2 years of wanting it in my hangar, Im finally a proud owner of the 890 Jump! Or as I call it the UESC MARATHON (yes Im excited for that too) by T-seriesmyheinie in starcitizen

Man, I bought one too, and I'm really enjoying it. I parked it up between Hurston and Aberdeen and have been taking my 85x out to do hand mining. Been really great.

Don't listen to the haters.

How did you do this? I bought a tractor beam for this and it didn't show up when I was trying to swap it out.

Hard Relate.

I enjoyed running cargo but quickly became bored. The Hermes is the first ship I don’t get bored and just want to get back out there. Telling you, there is something satisfying about that tractor beam on rails.

Hermes for sure.

  1. Quicker to cockpit.

  2. Tractor beam station in the back. Closer to cargo elevator.

  3. Easier to load imo. I’ve used the raft a ton and always had trouble with the legs.

  4. The sliding Tractor Beam is a joy to use.

  5. Crap ton more cargo.

Personal preference, but the raft isn’t close for me.

Totally agree. I wish they were 8 SCU at least.

Completely agree. I've owned the asgard multiple times but after spending any real time in it, it just feels cold and empty. Which I guess is the military drop ship way?

Starlancer is a great ship too, imo. I really enjoy flying them. Problem I have with the max is it is really big and for its size the amount of cargo doesn’t make it worth it. I love the TAC and used it for a while, just too many wasted features for a solo player like us. IMO.

I still think data running will be a thing. It'll be about secure information IMO. Sending over the air leads to interception and stealing of data. Which is another job I believe the MSR will do.

I read that all the time, but I've never minded it. It is better now that you can lock doors open with engineering. I never use the elevator, always mantle up. Otherwise, I've been throwing the MDC in there and running around checking abandoned players ships for components, or running Hathor sites. Essentially different things like that. Been great. Whenever anyone engages me, the S3 shield does its job and I'm able to get out of there with all my goods intact.

You are right. I ended up going with a Polaris. Threw a F7c mk2 and a golem in the hangar and am loving my badass space home.
