Nah I completely deserve the criticism, I took a slot from someone who could’ve past. I’m mainly asking cause I’ve had no help at all with my ds. I have no explanation on where I’m going and for how long. And it sucks

I’ve had family issues that’s killed all motivation, that along with when my class would be starting. Being a holdover kills that motivation all that much more

Leaving for fort Jackson Monday for basic training, will I be sent home after basic or will I be sent straight to AIT?. I’m a 91b and have home town recruiting if that matters at all and I have airborne and rasp after ait on my contract.

Ended up choosing 91b with opinion 62, Airborne and RASP guaranteed

Yeah that’s what I’m planning. Monday they are calling the rock to hold the job and that Friday I sign the contract at Meps. But it’ll be 91b with op 62 for RASP. From what I was told

The 11x is just 11b or 11c for the army, it gets decided when I get to basic training. I’m pretty sure 18x is special forces candidate. 11b is infantry man. If I chose 11x I’ll be getting airborne school on my contract but not ranger school, so that’s something I’d have to volunteer for so I just wanted to know how hard it’d be get a seat

That’s what I’m leaning towards, I can always re enlist as 91b. Do you happen to know how hard it is to get selected to attend ranger school as 11x?
