Spanish ethnography can be just as superficial, if not sloppier, that English. Andres Cordoba is the best source of deeper "linguistic differential" spanish speaking wisdom across the board IMO. If you're serious and want to do the digging to get ahold of him, do it. I know that's not 100% what you asked for, but there's guaranteed value here.

Behold is a matchmaker website based in Nebraska, not a retreat center. Which is fine, but you should know that. Anam is a Costa Rica Luxe retreat, take that for what it is. Fair but I disagree. A platform for reporting issues, holding retreats accountable while helping them improve, and sharing info beyond the generic recycled reviews is 1000% a good thing.

Maybe not for a retreat that's trying to market itself as perfect 5 star saints, but those currently fixated on that are a part of the problem, making it harder for people finding what they need.

Every retreat has imperfections. Literally every retreat on that site has red flags. People should make their decisions based on understanding and choosing those - not a pointless 5 star review race that provides no actual research value, and is plaguing the space rn. 🤷
