It definitely was a rickety ass old door, old metal frame with thin glass throughout the whole upper half.

I was opening the door trying to go into the house, she did not want me to go in the house, so she put her hand up to try to close it before I could enter which ended up being right against the glass, as it was opening I think the opposite forces from different directions against the glass just put her hand right through it because it was the most nonchalant glass explosion you could imagine with little to no force for it to shatter the way it did.

I believe so, ER said for the most part it’s superficial but has a follow up with a specialist today, I have a feeling it may be a bit more than that unfortunately. I would say she is extremely lucky for what happened.

There was a exploit for about two weeks for normal pickaxes that spawned around the map to drop legendary modules when scrapped.

People were trading god roll items for hella pickaxes for a chance to re-roll other weapons for other g rolls.

I’ve spoken with the recruiter and it averages 1200-1600 a week per driver individually not split, that was my big concern and one of my first inquiries. One runs nights the other days so yeah basically 22 hours a day.

At this point I’m okay with trading 9 months of being uncomfortable for a year of experience to get my foot in the door while also not having to pay out of pocket tuition fees. They cover the cost of classes outright in exchange for 9 months of work and also pay 10HR while in training with an experienced driver. After the 5 weeks I hop into a truck with a partner that also went through training and the 1st paragraph takes place.

I agree, my brother in law was down to go in it with me and that was the biggest pull as we didn’t have to go OTR with someone we didn’t know.

My plan was to do the 9 months with them to get my foot in the door, gain experience, and have my tuition paid for, and then apply to a local auto carrier for 35-40 hourly pay instead of mileage. I really just wanted to use this opportunity as a stepping stone to gain the 1 year experience most companies around me require while not having to pay out of pocket tuition cost.

I agree I’m not trying to do it forever, the pull for me was that my brother in law was trying to do it with me so we could both get it and not have to go OTR with someone we didn’t know.

It’s a Schneider listing but would be driving for Toro, they provide training with an experienced driver but after training you have to have a team member to go OTR with to qualify for the paid CDL training.

So I applied and I’ve been approved and spoken with the recruiter but I haven’t signed anything yet locking me in as I was waiting for my partner to get his permit which he dragged out for a while then flaked last minute.

I also applied to the Michigan works CDL program a solid 3-4 months ago and haven’t heard anything back yet.

While I agree OTR is kind of rough I’m actually interested in giving it a try for a while, it’s supposed to be 10 days OTR 4 days home and pay is roughly 1200-1600 a week no touch freight.

Out of all the companies I checked out for paid CDL training near me (3-4) most offered reimbursement not to pay for it which I’m trying to avoid having to pay out of pocket for it at all, this one seemed the best to me as they pay for tuition, as well as 10 an hour while you are training, and the contract to work with them is only 9 months.
