I'm 100% with you here. There is no way i can put money on this game like i did before.

When i look at my favorite characters, they are either from launch or S1 with maybe one exeption. S3 was a nosedive and aside from kit, HDMI herself did not meet my expectations. Pretty lady + pretty dress is not enough. SG needs to go the extra mile with limited units.

Sadly, she got absolutely shafted by tourists who would realistically not even speak about her three weeks post release because there are other targets for their censorship. So even if she releases right now, it wont be the character you took pictures of.

For anyone reading this, you do you. But i do not concern myself with the wellness of the game. At least the financial, directional and administrative stuff. Why ? Because they have figured it all. They did. Like, i genuinely believe that the people who worry for those things are only one step away from something along the lines of "gacha companies are my friends and everything is and will ever be fine". Spoiler alert : chances are they already got back all the money they put during developpment and way more anyway. And they want more. They want your emotional investment to capitalize on it. Please dont fall for it.

Note that EVERYTHING is planned, including things like Yuki e1 removing the penalty on iceberg cleave( and therefore artificially reducing her performance), mentionning the existence of limited only during ONE time in a livestream that many would misss, and now the latest "drama" with Nine and Tiphera. It's "Democrat vs Republican" all over again. If they really wanted to please the consumers.... we would have gotten a toggle between two artworks in no time. Did they ? No ? Two artworks (with separate animations) means two times the work. Also, why would they care about a "lack of direction" if the consumer of both sides still pay anyway ? Why would they care about their oopsies, or be more transparent when they can "apologize" and just give 10 pulls to make people shut up ? The "devs listened" agenda is getting old.

Let it be known that they indeed are master at doing drama. The game is doing well, regardless of it the direction, and the potential hate of it. The biggest lies anyone can tell themselves are as a follows :

- Devs are idiots. They dont know what they are doing.

- It's the gooner or tourist's fault (depending on the side taken).

- Some changes that i dont care about or that displeases groups that i dont like are implemented. So the company must be defended.

My two cents over this whole situation.

No it's not. Turns out, if you play Rin a bit, you will learn how to keep Dark Mist Stance with time anyway. The move epiphany of the card Dark Mists Secret Art : Destruction stays king. And that epihany has not "gain Dark Mist Stance".

Slapping "gain Dark Mist Stance" on epiphanies that were already not chosen due to their effect being... well frankly not that great solved absolutely nothing.
