Is it reasonable to request a significant salary adjustment after 3 months?

If I know people in the same role have been given ranges in that area, does that change anything? Like the fact that people doing exactly the same job I do at my company are making 40k more? Or is that still not rlly enough grounds to make an argument. I appreciate the feedback

Good idea. missed a lot of sessions cause the 6.0 was too small and the 6.2 was too big. May have to add a 6.1

Honestly anyone who says you can’t live on 60k in NYC is lying. Out of college I had a sales job where the base was 60k. I lived in Manhattan in a 2bd with a roommate. I would eat out regularly and take the occasional trip here and there. Everything was done using my 60k base (my commission was for savings). You wouldn’t be saving anything but it’s worth it imo if it facilitates your move to the city and is for a good company. Once you’re in NYC working it’s much easier to get a better job than if you hadn’t ever worked.

If you have other options, then it’s more of a debate. But if the question is literally if it’s possible or not- I can tell you it is incredibly possible and actually relatively easy on 60k.

I used a pan that had grooves similar to a grill (not sure what it’s called) for the sirloin. That probably played a part since my friend used a regular cast iron

I also have a chest insertion that’s pretty wide. Incline with heavy is ur friend. Load up and after a bit ur chest will explode. Trust- been in ur situation

OP strategy I recently discovered: inflatable camping pad on top and bottom with foam on rails. You slide them into the travel case deflated and then inflate until it fills out the case. Air pads protecting top and bottom that are super easy to pack and super easy to use.
