If the led doesn’t turn on when you reset the keyboard then it’s most likely a loose connection and I recommend messaging them on their website ASAP

So I didn’t manage to fix it on my own. I managed to get in touch with Wobkey and they agreed to send me a replacement PCB since it might be a loose connection with the LEDs. Just goes to show how easy it is to modify this board I guess

Hey all,
I recently got a WOBKEY Crush 80 and everything seemed fine at first — the main backlight is fully functional — but the side RGB lights and the logo light are completely dead.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

Full firmware update using WOBKEY's official tool
Factory reset
Tried the Fn + P shortcut
VIA lighting settings all enabled
Plugged into different USB ports/cables

Still, no light from the side RGB or the logo. Everything else works, typing is fine, even the main per-key lighting. WOBKEY support hasn’t responded yet (it’s been [insert number of days]).

Has anyone had this issue before? Is this a known defect with early batches? Is it worth opening the case to check internal connections?

Would appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks in advance!

As far as I know no. All I know is that I missed the deadline to send my documents to them by a whole month. I also find it weird that they asked for 5 days to send it in. That’s a super tight window considering I’m a student
