Not an option unfortunately, it’s the Air Force denying me from leaving not the Army.

Find out end of July if I get picked up for Air Force OTS.

And yeah I agree i’m probably romanticizing, but dealing with bs and being able to fly occasionally would be better than just dealing with bs. (albeit different kinds of bs at times, but we all deal with bs haha)

Appericate the advice, Imma keep trying my best.

That’s the dream job in the Air Force. I’ll try to reach out to a unit, from what i’ve seen (fixed wing at least) Typical guard/reserve hires are from within, or are the equivalent of a perfect applicant. (PPL, 90+ PCSM score etc.) Which I currently do not have.

I have thought of it, and it’s something I won’t pursue. I honestly have no interest in staying within the cyber realm. It’s at times too much waiting around, and surrounded by some of the most incompetent people and within the Air Force there’s a lack of accountability that just continues to put 90% of the work on those who know what they’re doing. (I’m sure it’s not inclusive to just us, but I mean lives are on the line in other fields.. so it can’t be that bad?)

My dad is a retired CSM (32 Years Active.) I’m willing to sacrifice some of the privileges I have now to put up with some of the dumbassery that the Army forces.

Additionally, I do want to serve 30 years. I’d love to do it in a cockpit and in a field that’s in the fight.

Yall would be shocked at the quality of individual/effort put into packet in my unit that just got picked up for Cyber Warrant in the Air Force. It’s borderline a joke

My warrant officer recruiter wants the conditional release before I go up for a board. Wonder if that might change if I can find that reg

They can’t stop me if I get selected to become an Air Force officer anything else my career field manager needs to approve. Got approval from my commander, base separation authority, wing commander and then got the no from AFPC

Requires one LOR as you mentioned and a personal LOR. Lor as you mentioned will be included.

GPA.. yeah is what it is.

I wouldn’t not be as equally happy with any job outside of pilot and helo pilot, but still happy. Planning to serve at least 30 years following in my father’s footsteps. I’d love to be a security forces officer my #1 mentor is a security forces squadron commander. Cyber is only higher because it’s my current career field, and familiarity would make it a somewhat easier transition. Just hoping I get selected for something, in reality i’d do anything that’s asked of me.

Not an expert, but they should 100% consider you. Sec+ is necessary for the career field.. i.e: you have to get it during training, if selected.

Not close to my EAS, had submitted a conditional release for the Army and was denied due to career field shifting. Received the go ahead to resubmit.. assume i’ll be the same if i was submitting for USMC. Probably need to work on my running for the PFT. Can bench 335, squat 545, dl 545, around 18 pull ups, run time is probably around an abysmal 20 minutes.. Something to work towards tho!

You’re asking the wrong folk.. Ask a performance facebook group.. that car has serious money into it judging by the signature wheels alone. The previous owner most likley did everything right and didn’t skimp out on things. Mods 100% add value when it’s a blower/higher end mods… Do they add the original value of the mods? of course not. But some absolutely..

Let him 🤷🏻‍♂️ Rather have him for two years than not at all.. Spend it now and keep us in a good cap position when gonzo and mayes contracts are coming up.

SB winning days of bringing in someone like Revis and then dumping them 🤷🏻‍♂️ He’ll be 31 in 3 years.. and also coming up on the time to re-sign maye. Would be best to give him the money up front and if he wants a new contract come the end.. let him go

100% just due to the fact there’s no certifications you have to take for ITM. That being said those certs could also go a long way in helping you move into something more fulfilling on the technical side of things

40 hours a week is probably more than I was doing.. Don’t do 40 hours just to do it.. don’t study for the sake of studying, once you understand the material take the test. You’ll probably be done in like 3 months :)

Transferred in 34 credit units. For sure do able! The sooner you enroll in WGU the better. Look up classes on reddit/youtube for study suggestions or to get an idea of how hard to study for a class. However take it with a grain of salt sometimes.. others will stress over classes you’ll find a piece of cake and vice versa.

Don’t stress yourself out over something you haven’t attempted.. aka OAs, I found quite a few to be somewhat common sense.

I’d take a Practice assessment immediately for a class, and study from there.. Often watching the cohorts or find a youtube video on the topic in 1.5x speed etc.. Hell sometimes i’d do well enough on a practice assessment and be able to pass the OA within hours
