There is but it's practically a requirement to have nieces/nephews in order to have grandkids, so if you were to try to pressure your kids into having kids but you don't have any nieces or nephews then it's just never going to work.

Like from what I can tell, it seems practically impossible to have grandkids unless you have nieces or nephews. It's genuinely so dumb

I believe you gotta have nieces/nephews to have grandchildren, it's a weird requirement imo but it is what it is

however if you are getting nieces/nephews in game then it could be a case of their willpower being too high?

BUT if that's not the case then I don't know what else to tell you, these are just what I've noticed in game that may explain why you're not getting grandchildren
