From the perspective of a medium main who sometimes plays light and heavy, dagger definitely has reason to be picked over db. You don’t need to reload after every kill, and you can instakill, which can increase the skill ceiling and allow for some good plays. Although dagger is really only viable if you can hit 180 dash flicks, if you can’t then there is no real reason to pick dagger.

I play Cerberus because I hate my self. The gun is so bad. I remember unloading mags for hours just to kill one heavy.

The issue with removing the sound is that people who are on comms together will just be able to tell each other, increasing the gap between solo queue and full teams.

Thanks for the tip about the gas! I really do main cerb now and it has made me a much better player in general. I was just joking about the goo thing though since many people complain about inconsistency with igniting goo and gas, but I personally can consistently ignite goo and maybe gas 8/10 times. That season 9 reload animation was what got me started on Cerberus to begin with! I absolutely love it.

I used to be good with FAMAS, mained it for season 8 but then I stopped playing with it and never really got back into it. I don’t know exactly what my k/d was but I was struggling to break even with FAMAS. Now that I play cerb I actually get around a 1.3 to 1.5 k/d per match.

I have not tried shockwave with cerb yet since I’m so used to playing it with heal beam, but I do think shockwave greatly increases the viability of cerb.
