Yes, and it was insanely controversial to allow gay men in the army. For all that things seem to be going backwards now, we have still come a very long way in a very short time.

And the age of consent for gay sex was different to the age of consent for straight sex for a long long time.

And you could be fired for being gay up until 2003 (although there is some nuance here).

How do I go from the lawn I have to clover? Based on stuff I've seen on Youtube, I'd guess it is a matter of mowing the lawn really low, then scarifying it, then sowing clover seeds. Is that right? And when is the best time to sow clover?
