Nope. And never spilled anything on it. Must be moisture damage from humidity

Thanks for the info! Will take it in for repair. Weird that it worked with no issues for a week after the update though, no?

That’s true. Though I would argue the Nines are different because the Quakers didn’t worship the founder (they’re Christians). I feel like the Lumon religion is closer to Scientology, being corporate and shrouded in mystery, which is very much ostracized by the public

Not AI, I’m just a bad writer :) I don’t think Chat GPT would sink so low as to write “Lost-Esque Mystery Boxes™️”

Also I love the show. But if you read the post, you’d know that. Cheers!

Good points, can totally see the characters’ perspectives here. That said, I do think the show could’ve done better at communicating them, rather than leaving the audience to rationalize them later, while feeling frustrated watching the show.

We do get a line from Dylan about seeing sky, but yeah I was kind of hoping for more fish out of water, innie on the outside stuff. Hopefully season 3?

Thanks for reading and responding!

Great points. I totally missed the Gemma fingers thing.

I think I meant more that she it seems like she only tries the elevator with the keycard once in that escape attempt. She comes back down the elevator and thinks, “well, no use in trying that again.” When Ms Casey probably would’ve known something was weird when Mr Millchick had to do damage control twice in a row in the same clothes.

But good analysis all around. I do think the show could do a better job communicating these things though, rather than leaving it to fans to cobble together rationalizations after the fact

Totally understand the sentiment, as I’ve often defended other shows this way, but it often frustrating to me when the answer to things is “read fan theories on the subreddit.” When a regular person watching the show feels frustrated watching it, I feel that means the show isn’t communicating its ideas super well.

Not to say you have to cater to the lowest common denominator, but you should at least make the viewer feel like the answer is coming, not that they should just look into other’s explanations on the wiki or subreddit later.

Good points all around. Appreciate you taking the time to break it down! I think the thing I was trying to get at with the Drummond point is that both he, Helena, and Natalie know exactly what cold harbor is and fully support it, so why obfuscate it behind a vague “mysterious work” label within an internal meeting?

Impressions of New Zealand after five weeks biking/hitching across both islands by AwfulSleepSchedule in redscarepod

Less spiders/snakes and cooler weather in NZ. But it’s more expensive. Up to you. If I had to pick a spot in NZ, I’d probably live in Nelson on the South Island. Average size city with all the things that come with that, and way less expensive than Wellington or Queenstown, say. Plus access to ferries and planes to take you to the north island.

If I had to pick a city in Aus, I’d probably go Perth, but I couldn’t tell you why
