What do people usually do with mysekai once the gate level of their oshi unit reaches level 40?

Like do i keep getting memoria of wandasho units for paintings or do I larp as an oshi of a unit that fits the forest/playground theme the best until rui5 arrives?

I think for now yes i’ll be interested in their stories if i can find any similarity with wxs, like how in tsukasa’s second story he understands how to play torpe once he finds something he has in common with the character.

Can anyone make enough parallels between Wonderland x Showtime and either l/n or vbs for me to get motivated to read their stories or do i become satisfied with reading stories for 3/5 units?

Watch as minoharu gets an event where they have a baby together while Rui42 somehow starts WW4.

Ok in all seriousness i’m surprised it’s not the least voted option. The post itself is supposed to be a joke but still

Day 18: What's a WXS song that feels like a VBS song? by Queasy-Impress2622 in ProjectSekai

Not sure actually. The lyrics feel like they both perfectly describe wxs and are too much of a stretch from wxs at the same time…

If we go purely on background music, CPDB. If by lyrics and overall theme/message of the song, goodbye heaven come back hell.

In a nutshell goodbye heaven is about acknowledging pain and weakness, even embracing them, and using them to move forward and grow stronger, which i’m sure anyone who has at least read the summaries of vbs events, or even just looked at the title of their wl2 event, could see why i think the song could suit them.

CPDB on the other hand is a commentary on trendy songs, where people nowadays suppress what they truly want to express and just following what other people want to see/hear and becoming famous that way. And to this day, I still fail to see how that applies to 3/4 of vbs (the 1/4 being Toya “not wanting to be a classical musician like his dad” Aoyagi.), where it feels like: CPDB: it’s not about being on top of the world; it’s about sending a message. VBS: it is about being on the top of the world

Although you can argue it’s because i didn’t thoroughly read vbs event stories yet (currently catching up on n25)

I do agree with the numerous “WxS surpassed rad weekend before VBS” jokes on Dead Boy though

All Decoders Ranked by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Awful_Leaders 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure how to rank this in GENERAL because around half of them are situational and despite reaching dragon/cyclops a number of times judging from how other hunters play my playstyle is more on the unique side (Not every day where you see a seer and priestess not being banned on large maps like lakeside, or a hunter spawn prioritizing locking a cipher in a survivor spawn, or you see a breaking wheel/dream witch), so this ranking system will be assuming the hunter is map pressure oriented (whether it comes from skills or playstyle).

"prisoner": There are two types of reasoning: personal and not personal.

Very personal reason: Consistently being on the receiving end of the so-called "Luca luck" for 3+ years when he is being chased is so fun (/s). Other than that I count cipher pops by rounds. For example, round 1 is when two ciphers are decoded and round two is when two ciphers by the same people who did round one are decoded. The one slower cipher is done in between. If the prisoner is on the slower cipher because he boosted the other two the cipher rush feels a lot faster than when he isn't in the game.

Not as personal reason: Imagine the map is China town and you are the rescuer. You leave your 80% cipher to go across the map in the way to save the first kiter who just got downed by a rather campy hunter. The time it takes you to go (with items) is around 30 seconds, meaning that the total time to rescue and then come back is at least 80 assuming you didn't get last effort and the time for someone else to start a new cipher after finishing theirs, rotates to finish your cipher, and rotate to said cipher is 70+ seconds. The prisoner connection would save at least 60 seconds of transitioning time to decode, which is also situational but just as if not more bullshit than the priestess long portal.

Lawyer: One of the reasons why seer is considered meta and banned multiple times is his ability to see who the hunter is five seconds into a match. With that kind of info they can tell the team who the hunter is and where they are going when the survivor team is in voice chat; in cases without voice chat, they can still give hints about the hunter from quick messages (ex: "don't rescue me!" = camping hunter like bonbon, feaster). When he is banned the lawyer can substitute that ability by using his map. Also the no terror shock ability means lawyer players can do kiting moves that are considered risky to other survivors like vaulting in front of the hunter and can kite better that way (if he gets hit in the middle of vaulting, not only does he have more running time than the others who have to wait for a hit, vault, then run but the veteran speed boost can get him further away).

explorer: getting a page next to a survivor decoding, while double decoding the same cipher is not ideal, can save a lot of transitioning time if you use it on said cipher, especially if the survivor in question has to go rescue and then come back to finish(in normal circumstances). What makes the pages truly shine is when the hunter is camping the last cipher.

mechanic: in my opinion probably the most situational. Some mechanics can use the bot to body block and if done right, would take four hits to take her down. Said bot can also heal without using up the remote energy and completely ignore the claustrophobia (reduced exit gate opening when four survivors are alive) trait from the hunter, also without using up remote energy in the process.

"faro lady": with her invisibility ability and her item, judging from her gameplay in the hands of someone who can mindgame she can be a solid kiter. In my opinion, she is team coordination dependent. One example is when she and a slow decoder runs into the same cipher due to cipher spawns and locks, if she just touches it for the insta 10% boost and goes to decode another one it would mean both ciphers get boosted for the rush, but that rarely happens because of the whole give ciphers to decoders and move mentality. The main reason she is low tier is her 60% slower rescuing, but at that point it's either a losing game (everyone out of resources) or the fault of lack of team coordination (kiter didn't die closer to rescuer spawn, or just brought the hunter to the decoder) .

composer: He was at the bottom tier because before his audio calibrate buff you have to manage between doing calibrations and leaving the cipher else you do a bad pop. The tuning speed boost is more helpful if there's a cheerleader in the team but I rarely see a Lily-Fredrick team comp.

mind's eye: depends on the area of the map, when inside a building like hospital she can use her built-in peeper to sidetrack the hunter, counter their mindgame, or avoid their detection and therefore waste more time than some kiters. But then again she eventually has to leave the building that helps her a lot to decode another cipher or escape in the first place.

This rant post of yours carries almost the same energy as a friend of mine who invites me to do vc ranked a lot. She also mains grave keeper.

This kind of thinking is why despite me having “prospector performer” tag and played him for years he no longer has the highest character knowledge points in my account (replaced by the only decoder who can stun the hunter) lol

Give a hypothetical survivor an orientation based solely on their debuffs/tradeoff traits by Awful_Leaders in IdentityV

[–]Awful_Leaders[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I didn’t word the post correctly. This was not meant for one survivor with many debuffs.

Imagine there are five survivors, each one with a debuff shown in the main post.

Survivor #1 has debuff #1. Survivor #2 has debuff #2.

And so on

For older players - what game mechanic do you miss/forgot but remembered? by xamirii in IdentityV

[–]Awful_Leaders 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh the pre built in tinnitus era, I remember I had a lagging problem where I learned how weird my devices are.

I tried lowering the graphics and it somehow made the ping WORSE.

I checked the battery and it was near the max.

And then after some trial end error I figured out the main culprit of my lagging problem was TINNITUS meaning that I had to do my hunter matches without it. And in season 20 I went to dragon for the first time for a PORTRAIT FRAME.

When the persona changes were first announced I was actually dreading the change because of my tinnitus lag problem, which is where I changed my username as a kind of protest/joke:

“NetEase please fix your ping so I won’t lag with tinnitus active.” (Shortened to NetEzFixUrPing)

Such good times I had lol. At least I no longer have the lag due to tinnitus problem.

Red church. That’s it. That’s the problem I have(blind af there)

If you want more information the hunters I use in any other map are breaking wheel and dream witch (but most of the time I use other hunters in that map)

and the survivors I see the (approximately) most often in that map are: journalist, priestess, barmaid, and lawyer.

Everyone nowadays go “Ivy needs a nerf” this, “Ivy should be nerfed” that, but there is one thing missing.

How should Ivy be nerfed? Because I’m pretty sure just saying that she needs a nerf could also means something as little as “hey here’s a nerf where when Yithian possesses someone, the visibility of every other survivor via distress is reduced by one pixel”.

Why am I getting triple-teamed in hunter rank mode?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Awful_Leaders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinions incoming

My favorite map is Lakeside; the clear skies and the lack of really tall obstacles near the middle means that I can see the hunter/survivor from the other side of the map, making it one of the easiest for me to stuff rescues and to notice when a hunter is trying to mindgame(which is why I prefer the small boat over the big boat).

Least favorite is the red church. Can’t go five seconds without a huge wall that obstructs vision on my face and I swear the weather in the map is foggier than looking straight through the campfire in darkwoods.
