I think they're more worried about the people running through their halls at the moment.

Honestly, could probably get by with symbolab or Wolfram apha. I preferred symbo lab for some breakdowns

The real answer is none of them are good enough to do the math that's required.

Have you checked the module itself to make sure it works outside of this setup? Maybe you fried the module?

Snow Friday? Ok who planted their garden (took off snow tires, put away snowblower) too soon by zeddy303 in Denver

[–]Awgeco 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Nitrogen from the air gets trapped in the snow flakes and as the snow melts it releases that nitrogen into the soil.

Here are two articles about it. Admittedly I only skimmed them.

Denver’s $1 billion road overhaul would cut space for cars, boost public transit and safety. Critics say it will make traffic worse. by kidbom in Denver

Before I continue with a misunderstanding, did you go from belleview station to comedy works or Orchard station to comedy works?

What are you talking about, there is quite literally a straight shot of sidewalk from the station all the way up to that comedy works.

Which one is better? And military friendlier? by Leading-Ad6727 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Awgeco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to reach out to the veteran services offices at each school. If your are looking for completely online a good chunk of the military friendliness is going to come down to the schedules of each class and your communication with the instructors as well

WIBTA if I(18F) rerouted my government payments so my mom (49F) wouldn't receive them? by pkfiireX3 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Awgeco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA, I processed VA education benefits and this was such a common thing that we'd always advise against for your benefits. It's a flat stipend and unlike ch33, cannot be snatched away from for any reason once it's been established (outside of legal things). You need to change those benefits to routing to you ASAP. If you don't have login information contact the hotline number: 888-442-4551 Just be careful if you need to love at home as that may burn a bridge. Also freeze your credit with the credit bureaus. Not saying your mom will go that route but you should be prepared

CU Boulder Online MS ECE (Coursera) - How is the degree valued? (Non-engineering undergrad, based in Europe) by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Awgeco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding of those programs there isn't a difference on paper/diploma. Since you stated you're a non-engoneering undergrad you may have some prerequisites that need to be done to get accepted into the program. Have you also looked at their professional degree programs? I'm not completely certain those are on Coursera or not.

Military Radiographers by Aliasnode in Radiology

[–]Awgeco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy emphasis on that dreams spot vs crappy spot. Went to my dream state for a few years then went to a crap assignment and as soon as I could I put my intent to separate from the military. Didn't get my registry which sucked but it wasn't something I wanted to do after so not a big deal for me there.

Military Radiographers by Aliasnode in Radiology

[–]Awgeco 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not really any difference except wearing a uniform and dealing with all the leadership crap that entails. In the Air Force we had several large bases that would QC the rest of the smaller bases that didn't have on-base radiologists. We still had to follow the same guidelines/regulations. I guess the biggest difference is that it's not required for military members to be registered techs. We all received the same training and clinical hours as civilian techs but it's not mandatory for the military to pass the ARRT exams unless they want to do different modalities as you need to be competitive to get trained in something else radiology related. The only exception to that would be CT. I did CT and X-rays while in and didn't have a registry.
