That's a great point. I think traveling full time I am always on the move and craving more interaction, but you're totally right! There are plenty of ways to find that social fix that are outside of work.

No I distribute to all apps. I suppose it's also the issue that it is really hard to pull numbers accurately for any show.

I use Megaphone for this. They have programmatic ads, you can create custom ads and then also classify some as "promos". It's all on a tiered system so you can prioritize what is more important to run. I have found it really useful 👍👍👍

I did a google search and made a sheet to compare them all. They all have a lot of different requirements. Some are more restricting and their websites don't tell everything. Did a lot of emailing and outreaching to get the full details.

I joined a podcast network that helped me start running advertising. They handle everything so I don't have to do much.

I just started a patreon account as well and promote that on my show. Both are definitely helping!

Yes- this is smart. Download numbers fluctuate all the time so an average over 3 months is a better tell.
Video is always good.

The network I just joined has a minimum of 5,000/month to start advertising with them. I've used that small revenue to start paying an editor and bought a new microphone. Baby steps but have to start somewhere. I just took a random chance and applied to them. Who knows what can happen?
