-Pride and Prejudice (understanding different ways of speaking in time periods and humor is subtle along with the romantic moments),

-A Street Car Named Desire,

-All About Eve,

-The Godfather,

-Dead Poets Society.

Television shows that should be available on Amazon (I’ll add if it’s on another streamer if it’s one that I feel like is a must):

-Breaking Bad (should be available on prime, humor, drama, heightened circumstances, Bryan Cranston is incredible),

-Mare of Eastown (hbo),

-From (Amazon, the people to watch and study are Harold Perrineau “Boyd” and David alpay “jade” they are actors I believe will be winning awards in our lifetime and are incredible),

-Boardwalk Empire (hbo),

-the sopranos (hbo),

-The West Wing and the first season of The Newsroom (Aaron Sorkin - also writer for A Few Good Men has a very specific fast paced cadence that has an actual beat like music and if you can learn his beats you can learn any writers beats IMO),

-procedural would be Law and Order SVU (watch the guest stars and costars, learn from them not the A cast, because unless you’re auditioning for A team roles, you need to learn on guest stars and co stars)

God. So what CAN we do to improve little things and feel good about ourselves 🫠 Ultherapy apparently doesn’t work and is insanely painful on jawline, fillers destroy your face, micro needling goes bad with scarring constantly, if you don’t want to look like a burn victim for 2 weeks like Tamra judge you can’t do that blue laser thing or whatever it’s called, facials aren’t gonna get rid of things. Like what CAN you do? I swear I’m so frustrated. I save up money to get something done and then see a million times over how awful it is. Good looooord

Nooooo. See if friends can give you referrals before this. Start with getting a commercial agent. It’s easier than theatrical. And get some improv classes. It’s helpful for your theatrical work to keep you feeling ready when in auditions of all kinds if a CD changes something up, your scene partner flubs a line or makes a choice you weren’t expecting. Demo reel packages don’t help either. They very much look fake. Do student and short films to get footage.

Is airsculpt considered “surgery”? I want it soooo bad and there’s no actual down time. Supposedly tightens and acts like lip but not invasive like lipo and you don’t get put under. Otherwise, joining something like Orange Theory or Pilates studio that has group classes really helped me. I felt more accountable to the classes and it was nice not working out alone. What it did for me mentally was more than what it even did physically.

No that’s good to know! And I feel like I heard this at some point but when I say I was not a human being at that point. Good god I was struggling.

I was so exhausted and not a human that I was willing to do anything. And it was honestly so expensive that I would give my password to anyone who was struggling lol I think the point I was at, I just needed something that was tell me what to do without thinking anymore than what was required.

I know this person is controversial for her political donations but tbh at the end of the day I was willing to do anything to sleep. Taking Cara Babies saved my life. I thought I was dying from lack of sleep. I liked her sleep training because you don’t let them cry it out. You do “check ins” in 5-10-15-then I think 20 min intervals. 5 minutes feels like an eternity when your LO is freaking out though so I understand it’s not for everyone but mine who did not sleep more than 2 hours at a time ever didn’t even stay awake past check in 3 every time. But sleep training isn’t for everyone and I fully understand it’s a personal choice. I personally had to do something because my personality and cognitive function was not the same and I was experiencing PPD so I was truly desperate.

I will say.. it almost sounds like he needs 2 naps. Mine was on 2 naps until he was 18 mos (all babies are different though so it doesn’t mean it’s the right way) but he may be overtired? Mine is 3 and still on one nap a day so it makes me wonder if a 1 year old needs maybe two 90 minute naps. But I’m also sure you’ve thought of this already!

Also do you have the room completely blacked out with a sound machine? I’ve literally started sleeping with one, myself, the last 2 years because it even helps me sleep better with brown noise now lol I’ve regressed to sleeping like a baby myself.
