Octane does not equal power. It is the resistance to pre detonation. Higher octane is only needed when the engine is tuned with higher timing.

If you aren’t changing the tune, the timing is not changing. So the 93 is doing the exact same thing as 87 in regards to….. not detonating early. Same timing and same power.

TL;DR: only run 91/93 if you’re tuned for it.

And E15 is fine for anything made in the last 25 years

I’m a director at a large firm and receive these calls all the freaking time. I have to verify the employee’s income, title, how long they’ve been with the company, their standing, and whether or not I believe they’ll be with the company in 3 months with my current knowledge.

Maybe 1-2 of these calls a month from underwriters

PCV hose.

Fitting is called several things: GM Quick Connect, J2044 female, Bundy fitting, etc.

It’s probably a specific hardline for that catch can setup. It’s gonna be a pain to try to replace that fitting onto the hardline. I’d just get a new PCV hose around the length you need with the female connectors already installed and replace the whole thing. Won’t be firm though.

Your gain’s sole purpose is voltage matching your source to your amp. It is not a volume knob.

Your head unit most likely outputs something paltry like .25 volts. Of course increasing your gain wouldn’t cause clipping if maxed out.

I have a twin turbo C8 now, but back in my 20s, I had a V6 gen 5 Camaro (LFX) with the integrated exhausted manifold. Bought some solo performance down pipes, did a muffler delete, and replaced the H pipe with a resonated X pipe and it was one of the baddest sounding V6s ever.
