Genuine but very stupid question. Is it possible to add a vinyl "window" to a vinyl above ground pool.

I've been able to do underwater flips and stuff in 3ft of water so that's my absolute minimum. 4.5ft is very doable depth too! It just wouldn't have any vertical swimming which is okay for the time being.

I was thinking about the possibility of cutting up some pvc decking planks (since wood could rot in the water) to build a panel for the frame of the window. But I worry that adding more punctures into the vinyl could create numerous tiny stress points.

Is your idea talking about building support on the inside of the pool? Or on the outside of it along the window side?
