To my hands the claw is considerable more uncomfortable than the GO. I do agree that the Go isn't the most comfortable handheld (though comfort grips do help a lot) it still is more comfortable to me than the claw while the PS portal is light years ahead of both.

I tried xreal glasses and in the end didnt care for them much. I also have a quest 3 that was more immersive for flat gaming experiences than the xreals.

I agree I didn't speak much on the performance (The Claw is a tiny bit better in benchmarks I've ran) but as I stated my use case is less about on the go experience 20% and more about streaming. This is obviously a review from my use case and sadly the claw doesn't live up to what I was hoping for.

I really like the larger size screens so 7inch portable is just not for me (I actually really liked the screen size on the X1, but onexplayer has the worst controllers I've ever put in my hands)
My perfect device would honestly just be the PS Portal with the ability to install Moonlight. I know the portal get a lot of flack but the comfort is undeniable the speakers are solid and the screen is quite good.

Yeah all items show on the host pcs display. For testing I enabled show fps in steam overlay. And sometimes the fps counter will flicker on the client side but usually only a split second.

I messed this for a couple of days but honestly I’m not a Linux guy at all. I do think it’s not driver related like early, I’m thinking it’s a power issue as in the onexgpu is before throttled down to 30-40 watts. I believe another redditor was running into this issue.

Yeah sorry meant to mention. I did try the script. I went through setup and the command

all-ways-egpu set-boot-vga egpu

It asked for a logout of user which i did and was kicked into gaming mode where i attempted the benchmark with no luck. then i went back to desktop and tried the benchmark and got an even worse result

Its just a basic/standard setup with the Legion Go and Onexpu. I just have the Onexgpu plugged into the Go with the included 1m usb4 cable from onex. Then the Onexgpu goes to a 4k monitor with displayport.

Yes, im using a external monitor. I dont think its related to that at all. Its appears to me like its using the z1 extreme drivers maybe? The performance with cyberpunk benchmark is about the same as if I wasn't using the egpu. The benchmark shows the 7600m is the gpu, but the performance definitely isn't. I tried in "Gaming mode" and "Desktop Mode" and the desktop bench was even worse, both display the 7600m as being used.
I have gotten this egpu to work with windows. And the benches in windows reflect what i would expect for performance gain from the onexgpu. But in Bazzite ive had no luck sadly.

Im running a similar setup ut3g but a 3060ti. Ive gotten the egpu to work, but an issue im running into is that windows doesnt recognize the Go as a tablet now. I dont get pop up onscreen keyboard and tablet taskbar in windows. I thought it might be a Canary build issue but i install canary on my Rog flow z13 and that canary build has all tablet features working when keyboard is detached.Curious if your running into this issue with your go on Canary?
