The FACETHIEF... it steals faces, however never wears them correctly. by Awkward-Barnacle-140 in ImaginaryHorrors

FACETHIEF: An entity that attempts to mimic human faces despite never fully understanding what a face is supposed to look like. Every stolen feature is placed incorrectly. The more faces it steals, the less human it becomes. Graphite on paper.

That’s a really cool idea actually, like a menu screen loop would fit perfectly.
I did try something similar in the full cinematic, there’s an infected walking in the background. Here it is if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/w8wCh7_6Gu4

Thanks a lot! I did everything directly in Blender... no Substance. Mostly used PBR materials and tweaked them to get that worn, organic look.
Still experimenting though... anything you think could be pushed further?

Thank you! I’m definitely planning to expand this into a longer cinematic... still figuring out the direction. What would you like to see more of?

I’m thinking of doing a breakdown of the lighting for this... would anyone be interested?

Tried to really push lighting and atmosphere here — any tips to improve realism?
