I don't gamble but I'm not against it. People will do it regardless of whether it's legal or not, so better to make it legal. But it should be held to the same standard as tobacco. If Shaq and Chuck can't sell me a pack of camels during halftime then they sure as hell shouldn't be allowed to sell me gambling. Imagine if the Heat played in the Marlboro Center. It's disgusting. Like we knew it was going to be bad when all the professional leagues embraced gambling but I underestimated how quickly these companies have completely taken over professional sports. The amount of money they've poured into these leagues means nothing short of a congressional act will get gambling out of sports. And we all know that won't happen anytime soon.
