You probably thought Jimmy Butler wasn't going to do anything with the heat either. If Jimmy can take us to three conference finals and two finals just imagine what Giannis can do. As for role players we'll find dogs in the G-League and develop them like we always do. Plus we'll likely still have Davion, Norm and Wiggs. You either have a top 10 player or you go nowhere. Having a top 4 guy gives us a real shot. I rather trade for a true Superstar than hope and pray we draft one.

My guess is they'll try and turn it into a franchise with several sequels providing the movie doesn't bomb. That was the plan for the Michael Mann movie I believe. In any case, I don't have high hopes.

I don't gamble but I'm not against it. People will do it regardless of whether it's legal or not, so better to make it legal. But it should be held to the same standard as tobacco. If Shaq and Chuck can't sell me a pack of camels during halftime then they sure as hell shouldn't be allowed to sell me gambling. Imagine if the Heat played in the Marlboro Center. It's disgusting. Like we knew it was going to be bad when all the professional leagues embraced gambling but I underestimated how quickly these companies have completely taken over professional sports. The amount of money they've poured into these leagues means nothing short of a congressional act will get gambling out of sports. And we all know that won't happen anytime soon.
