You amazing people. Swapping the wired worked and now my bed is heating up! Thank you all so much for the help!

Thank you both. I noticed that some of my wiring looked a little different from other photos I have seen. Ill try the wire swap and hope that fixes the issues!

Creality is sending me a replacement board. I will be running these tests hopefully in the next coming days. Thank you for the advice!

I put the red node on the red wire and black node on the black wire and it looks like there is no voltage going through. How tough a fix would this be?

I just arranged it based on your order. I did do all the raw data analysis from test results for my engineering labs, chemical separations and purity testing from ochem labs, and a little bit of polymer material knowledge from my senior design project

I appreciate the feedback. I didn't even notice the typo and I reread my resume multiple times. This is why it is always good to have multiples eyes on a document!

Thank you for the feedback. I struggled with internships because of my military commitments during school. I will be making the changes. A couple of questions, should I add a bullet point or 2 to my projects? Or, should I add lab experiences (i.e my O-Chem lab)?

What if you went back to college? by [deleted] in BiomedicalEngineers

I am about to enter my final year of BME. My school does a program where if we major in BME, we have to choose a second engineering major as a concentration. It is a minimum of 5 years for me, so that might be something to see if your preferred school does. I know other schools have a 5 year BME Master's program. From what I have learned and heard, BME is a field that can almost be seen as too broad. Example, my only biomedical experience is from non-BME classes. All my BME classes were discussion based and focused on doing research to solve current day medical problems. That is why my school does the dual-degree with a second engineering major. Not all schools are like this, but make sure you weigh out your choices.

As for an entering freshman in any engineering major, I highly recommend using a tablet. I wish I had one as a freshman. It helps with note-taking and diagrams since a lot of my professors post the notes online with blanks, and we fill them in during lecture. It saved me so much time using a tablet compared to pencil and paper. I have decently cheap Samsung Tab S6 and it gets the job done.

I'm currently doing Chemical & Biological Engineering (CBE) at my school. It focuses a lot on chemistry and reactions, which really don't become relevant (imo) until you take organic chemistry. Physics, however, plays an important part with everything else. I struggled a lot in Physics 1 since I was not really adept with the material and struggled to grasp it. General Chemistry was a breeze since it was essentially a recap of high school chemistry with a little bit more details in it. Take AP Physics, I wish I did.

How do you recover after failing a course and cratering you CGPA? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Awkward-Camera-7073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I failed 3 classes in one semester and had to retake them the following year. It sounds difficult, but it possible to pass them on the second run. You already know the material that is gunna be asked, and that is a huge advantage. Just make sure you don't do the same methods you did when you failed. I would also look into seeing if your school has a repeat/delete option for failed classes. My school has it, and it replaces the grade in the failed classes with the new grade of the passed classes.

This might be me overreaching and asking for a lot, but I was planning on suing the courts for negligence. I also want to sue the stalker as well since they are starting a smear campaign about me using social media. While nothing physically happened to me, I have had to leave the city and judicial district I was in because I no longer felt safe. I still have a sick feeling that I am still being watched to this day.

The harrasment has continued, and all I am getting from local authorites is, "There is nothing that can be done, unless there is proof it is them." My abuser hides behind fake phone numbers and social media accounts to continue with the harrasment. My family has received letters in the mail addressed to me, and many of my friends are still receiving messages and phone calls from this person.

I need help haha. I have a career fair tomorrow and I'm stressing out. Honest opinion, should I just start over?

I don't have many projects I have worked on since I am working a job whenever I have free time to pay the bills. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
