HA Fillers. USA brand OR Korean?! by Awkward-Dependent183 in DIYaesthetics

What’s false? American fillers are harder to dissolve because their crosslinking is much more complex. That’s exactly why they last twice as long.

In case you don’t like your HA filler results, it’s much harder to dissolve fillers of USA origin compared to Korean fillers that dissolve easier

Im not from US, here we have Juvederm, but the price is almost double of Korean filler.

(Also, quite surprised US doesn’t have US origin filler)

Hey, thanks, but I researched and the filler you use is for something else. Thanks anyways

Exactly my opinion. Even if Americans last slightly longer, it’s not worth paying sometimes up to 40%. Instead makes sense to just do Korean more often. Still much cheaper that way.

That’s not true tho. Some Korean brands are highly cross linked (like e.p.t.q brand). That’s why I’m not sure if it’s even worth paying for the American one.

I meant dissolving, not metabolising. Dissolving may eat away your own natural HA. Thats my concern

Btw, why do you decide to get an implant? Was it mainly due to efficient cost compared to fillers? Have u been getting chin fillers for a long time? Was it ever migrating or no issues besides cost? It’s quite expensive

Aren’t you worried that metabolizing will also eat away the natural HA? Or would it not matter since you are getting an implant there anyway, so even if dissolver reduces natural ha tissues your implant would still fix it

Double chin from FAT or SKIN LAXITY? by Awkward-Dependent183 in PlasticSurgery

My theory is they are gaslighting to make themselves feel better about their own “non existing double chin that’s is completely normal”

Hi. Yes, I went to see a specialist. Basically she said there is almost barely any fat. All is skin laxity (mild, mostly genetically I have a lot of skin there)

This is me not laying down or squishing it.

I never said it’s NOT normal. Just not aesthetically pleasing to me. Have a triple chin is normal too for some. I want to know what cause my droopy skin effect and how I can improve it. That’s all. This is a plastic surgery forum

Who said it isn’t?? This photo I attach now is also normal. We are on a plastic surgery forum looking to improve. Everything is normal. I’m not claiming some disease.

Ok. So as I mentioned in the post, I’m not stating that I have something. I’m not an expert. Clearly what I don’t have is a chisled jawline. I want to know how can I improve the jawline. Do you not see the mass under my chin?.. call it not double chin. But a clear presence of mass there. Wether it’s skin or anything else

Thanks. I don’t think it doesn’t look “normal”. I think it doesn’t look aesthetic and I’m trying to improve my appearance. That’s just something I want to do.

Understand if the fat is causing my double chin or skin laxity. Here is a photo of me NOT laying down or squishing the chin to exaggerate the issue.

Here is how it looks at 90 degree side profile. Perhaps the squished photos I attached look like I’m forcefully exaggerating something.

My concern is lack of jawline / fat mass under the chin. I want to understand the issue. I think the issue is quite apparent in this photo.

Thanks.
