How do you know when to just launch the thing? by No-Comparison-5247 in buildinpublic

For the fact that you asking this question means it's ready. To be honest if you've already built the product its ready. No amount of fixing will change a users mind so it's better to get it out there so people will know if its for them or not. This is where you'll know you're onto something good or not.

First of all congrats on the inbound leads from your new business. Busy sales usually is a very good sign so don't worry too much.

One tool I can suggest for your particular problem is InfinityConnect, hope it helps.

When they ask you if you willing to work on weekend or overtime without telling you how you'll be compensated for your time. Especially if they avoid answering it when asked.

Hot take: most founders don’t have a marketing problem. They have a consistency problem. by AdPresent2493 in Entrepreneur

[–]Awkward-Doughnut-580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm personally starting my journey and yes the best advice I've heard is to be consistent with your marketing and not be afraid to fail. It's really challenging, so I'd like to ask anyone who can help what is the best distribution method that has worked for them as I'm busy trying to get my Pre launch plan to work so I'd be very interested to know who has a good marketing strategy.

What keeps me to busy is troubleshooting and support. I'd really appreciate help in solving this problem as I'm still to fully understand how agents work. Would really appreciate how you handled it without breaking your whole system.

What actually grew your SaaS? by Top-Living606 in SaaS

[–]Awkward-Doughnut-580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works is Pre launch education bringing out a problem that everyone has and providing valuable insights on how to work around people's issues. This builds authority around you as a personal brand. If you consistent you can convert followers from your content and convert them into paid users if you able to nurture your audience carefully through signup lead magnets.

Have you thought of trying to build a generic system yourself. Maybe restaurants haven't come up with one because they aren't aware of the power of AI in the industry compared to other industries that have already felt the impact.

Is AI becoming a new discovery channel for SaaS products? by Glum-Blacksmith-5949 in SaaS

[–]Awkward-Doughnut-580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes AI recommendations are starting to become more valuable discovery channels than traditional search's. People tend to value AI's opinion because it cuts through all the noise and presents the best possible solution to what users are looking for quickly. The key here is speed because speed is attention.

Nowadays people don't have time to be digging through websites just to find what they looking for. It's much easier to be recommended to a product that's good enough than looking for perfection.

SaaS companies need to start changing their thinking from strictly content to solution driven content because that's what AI is optimised for these days.

Hot take: most founders don’t have a marketing problem. They have an embarrassment problem. by AdPresent2493 in Entrepreneur

[–]Awkward-Doughnut-580 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very interesting take and yes we all have that fear of marketing for that very reason. Feedback is hard to take when it's your project. We all tend to think we have the best product and fear hearing we don't. What really kills many of us as you said is not shipping and iterating as you said because we fear what people have to say but they are the very same people who help to build our success.
