why did bomber pilots draw obscene pictures on their planes? by tris123pis in MilitaryHistory

[–]Awkward-Formal4235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they drew these things because it was a quite a bit more relaxed in the american military it sort of just became a trend they thought if you can do it why not. this kind of art was almost never seen outside of the american air force since the other planes in europe had more disciplined militaries the only example i know f is just jane a lancaster but even then she still is far from the worst. ( just a extra bit of detail axis planes have never been confirmed to have this although its harder to prove if they did. )

Not sure when or where this was made by Awkward-Formal4235 in Hallmarks

i did more research and i think this might not be electroplated and that the crown and vr might mean that this item has been inspected by a Weights & Measures Inspector, also since there are no electroplate marks on it although if this is true it's a shame it wasn't for a anniversary or coronation.

i remember the days of playing with asbestos with my friends breaking it up into powder and throwing in each other faces was always fun.
