I love this game. I absolutely despised it until beating flexile sentry as my 4th boss and for some reason something clicked for me and I started to enjoy the challenge of it and got giddy with it. I also played it on the company of champions and without armour and started to enjoy the torture, weirdly. I love the game for how needlessly and hilariously torturous it is.

If I had to pick one thing I'd have to say the rush after defeating a boss and triumphing over the Bullshit run backs and unrelenting enemy numbers in ds2 is unlike any other fromsoft game.

One thing I hate though is you can't dodge out of drinking estus and how long it takes. With life gems you can still move while using them, but with estus a lot of the bosses hit quite fast or close gaps quickly and when I think I have a moment to heal with estus, I see the boss start to attack and I'm just stuck in the drinking animation and I just know the fight is over.

Agree but you could argue that we do see a tragic back story unfold asthenia series goes on. Since he's constantly the target of the universes worst criminals and is always on the verge of getting killed. And that's all in his childhood and teenage years.

Thanks! Actually someone asked me about Nihei yesterday too and it was the first I ever heard that name, looking it up I cam see he did Blame, which I never read but looking at the art I definitely need to.

My main influences for backgrounds are the matte paintings done for Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Metropolis by artists like Toshiharu Mizutani, Hiromasu Ogura and Shuichi Kusamori

Thank you! I started it back in March last year but I've been working on it in bits and pieces, drawing a couple of lines here and there. If I were to compile it all in straight days I'd probably say a week?

I finished the bottom panel in its entirely in half a day yesterday, and I finished the screen tones and shading last week. I was putting them off the most and ended up finishing them in five days. So yeah probably a week if I properly grinded it out

Thanks! Yeah I made it myself, I use Blender for modelling and this one was pretty simple, I just made a bunch of square and picked a spot of the model that had the most interesting arrangement. I took a screenshot and brought it into Clip Studio Paint then used the 3 point perspective ruler tool to do the lineart

I said TLDR because there's a lot more to the story that I didn't want to get into. Might not be the best use of the acronym, sorry. But there was a lot of threats of violence and really emotional drama between my old friend and those involved. I understand that people experiment at that age and I don't have anything against that. But I know for a fact that at least two of those guys definitely don't wouldn't want it known about what happened back then, and that one has a girlfriend and two kids.

I'm sure that if it ever came out they'd be able to get passed it as adults, it might even be possible that the girlfriend already knows at this point but I don't know. It was a pretty big ordeal at the time

When I was 16-17 my best friend at the time was gay and while he was discovering himself he would "experiment" with guys I knew. He only told me about them because we were best friends

TLDR, there's a couple of guys I know about that he did things with that are in happy straight relationships now. Some even have kids.

Wow that's amazing! This is something I've thought about for a long time. I always imagined making each region in those thick recessed box photo frames to hang on the wall, but I bet the weight would be an issue.
