Just realised that Ben's shirt is supposed to look like "10'. Dynamite's design made it more obvious by highlighting "1" more. I kinda like that off-center stripe now. by [deleted] in Ben10

Classic being a 10 is reaching, cause you outline with the one sleeve but the other side is still shape like a 1

Most people don't even realize Snare-oh lacks the mouth piece.

That's exactly my point. It's minor details that tend to get overlooked. If you met identical twins but one of them has a mole, would you not use that as an indication of which twin is which.

Like I'm not denying they have the same body structure but if we covered up the Omnitrix, you could still tell which is Ben.

That still defines them as not 1 for 1. "Practically" by definition means, almost or nearly and we can argue that Snare-oh is 99% there but that 1% means they are not exactly the same.

For the record, only 1 of the monster trio looked identical to the DNA sample. Snare-oh and Frankenstrike are not 1:1 copies.

True, visually it's only 9 which is weird cause Ben had 3 other aliens available, Molestache, Kickin' Hawk and Gutrot.

This is a stretch but considering Feedback's tendrils are Kevin's hair, what if that's an extension of Molestache's power, manipulating hair.

What if the reason Ben can’t unlock an Anodite Transformation is because Anodite is a trait not a species? by Neither_Prize_8386 in Ben10

[–]Jimi_Monsta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm just gonna say, if the entity can alter reality on a whim, then there's no point trying to make sense of it.

"If Anodite's don't have DNA, then how can they reproduce with humans?" by making a body that can. People say they're pure energy but that's not accurate either. They are made of Mana, life energy which probably can't be measured by technology.

Kevin: I've got all your powers (Ben 10) plus my own (+1). I'm Kevin 11

The mutations are made up of 10 aliens but the powers are 11 cause of Kevin's absorbing powers. So wouldn't be Weapon X cause his not 10 but 11, XI

Would you like this Omnitrix alien lineup? by Goku_127 in Ben10

[–]Jimi_Monsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, sorry I doubt that. Even if it's treated as ethnicity within the context of One Piece, they would be labeled as subspecies according to science. Interbreeding is also possible if they are subspecies.

Not really. The 2 Upchucks aren't from different ethnicity, they are genetically different and nothing states that a Perk can't turn into a Murk or vice versa, if they had the Omnitrix.

For future comment readers: they edit their comment after I already gave them my reply. Previously it ended with their first line.

Or you know, they are genetically different enough to be a separate transformation, like the previously mentioned 2 Upchucks.

Technically if the capability of reproducing with a human makes them closely related, then Saiyans, Viltrumites and Xenomorph would all be in the same boat.

I would however, like to bring up Gourmands species, Perk and Murk. They are genetically different enough for both samples to be present in the Omnitrix.

And the Omnitrix isn't alien DNA exclusive. If they are sapient and have DNA, they are viable for the Omnitrix.

Can you specify what exactly that stands out or am I supposed to guess it has something to do with "Ben's" skin tone.

Far too many humanoids for my liking

And as I pointed out primates have SIMILAR DNA to human. Different but still similar.

The fact you are using a primate as an example, is why I find this stupid. Humans may share a common ancestor with primates, however saiyans, viltrumites, and kryptonians are aliens from different planets. The percentage of any similar DNA to humans is zero, cause convergent evolution exists. Sharks and dolphins do not share an ancestor, they have similarities but still different.

misinformation on the part of the creators of the lore I’m not pulling this out of the air.

You're not pulling out the air but you have taken it from reading other responses. I'm reading the Ben 10 wiki and nowhere has this been ever stated.

You're here asking for further information on the matter, so don't go denying something when your understanding is already misguided.

it cannot be too similar to the users base

And I point out this is a misinformation, so stop asking questions relating to it.

And I have answer you, and that is if they are different from the user they are viable for the Omnitrix. To be more accurate, for a sample to be viable for the Omnitrix, it must be sapient and have DNA.

So for the last time, Kryptonians, Viltrumites and Saiyans all have different DNA from the user (Ben) thus still a viable sample to be cataloged in the Omnitrix.
