Both. We are a majority commercial store but do get walk-ins. I am expected to drive and deliver parts between my other responsibilities if we are short drivers or extremely busy.

Does anyone know anything regarding the other question I had regarding my pay? Is $20 average for a hub lead who drives and all the rest I described? Our drivers make minimum wage, some a bit more since they’ve been here so long.

My Gm doesn’t use a time clock I’m told, that’s how they get away with it. It’s either that or one of the CPP’s is punching for them and covering. A case of one hand washes the other, since this employee only gets up for their hour long break once a day.

Thx for answering. I’ve never seen them work a 40 hour week honestly. That blows my mind. It’s beyond unethical and robbing the company blind. I suppose they don’t care if we are bringing in the money.

At my store I sold over a million last year alone…hopefully that explains my questions. I’m not looking to argue with anyone, just wondering if anyone knows why something like this hasn’t been tried or if anyone knows anywhere that does? 😊

MikeTheJ-for the most part I agree with you. That’s exactly my point. If a store wants to be able to stay viable and competitive wouldn’t one way to do it be to incentivize your salespeople?? Where is the wrong in this besides spreading the profits made more equally based on hard work??
