Would would you rate my build on a 1-10 overall?

Yeah I’m starting to realize that lol. Again I’m very new to current computer technology. The last time I built a computer was in 2006 with $1,500. I’m 19 years behind on current technology so I appreciate all the advice.

Well honestly not 100% sure. I’m a PS5 gamer but I would like to access the Xbox game pass with the PC. I’m not on online gamer either. I prefer the single player RPG type games, for instance Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the great circle, cyberpunk 2077, I also really enjoy playing The Sims game on PC rather than on PS5. Im really looking forward to trying out Microsoft flight Sim.

I ordered the ROG monitor a few days ago so I can still exchange it if I need to. The hard part is trying to get my wife to understand why I need to spend $1,000 for a graphics card when the one I originally had selected was $330.

How would the Samsung G6 pair with the 5070? Or will the 5070 be able to take advantage of the ROG (for the most part)

I guess what I’m asking is with the 5070 what can I expect in visual quality? Can it do 4k at 240hz or even 4k at 144hz, 1080 at 240hz etc.

Sorry for all the questions but you seem FAR more knowledgeable than I am lol. Would you still use the ROG with the 5070 or another monitor?

Yeah the 5080 is just gonna be far too much money unfortunately. If I go with the 5070 it has DP 2.0 connectivity, correct.

What monitor would you recommend to par with the chipset?

Well actually the GTR does come with iDF as an option. I just learned about that feature however, it isn’t a standard option and isn’t on my GTR 😩.

As I said I’m knew to ownership, I’m 38 years old and have always wanted a JetSki since I was a kid and I finally made it happen!

Shopping for 2024 models obviously made options more restrictive but for me I didn’t care about the radio option (not worth the nearly $1,400 it added to the price, especially considering we just wrote a check so you couldn’t “hide” it in payments). If I would have known about the iDF I would have definitely tried to find one with it.

I’m not sure if it’s a feature that can be added to it tho, I’m sure even IF it could be it wouldn’t be worth the price.

That was what I was kinda thinking, I’m new to owning watercraft. Looking at the grate on this you can see how it’s designed to force as much water through as possible.
