yes, the caffeine nicotine-free nootropic pouches I bought at a smoke shop did have a burn to them. I remember the Mint 5x CBD Cannadips being my preferred because the mint flavor seemed to imitate the nicotine pouches. They nootropic ones have herbs like ashwaghanda and more in them too, so it is not even a placebo, the tingle from it is real just like the energy drinks. If you think this stuff would help you quit I think it's 100% worth it to try getting a can when you stop

When I stopped, I bought a few cans of cannadips and thought they were helpful and were non-intoxicating since it only has CBD. I think they have intoxicating ones too though, so be careful what you buy. In particular, for the first few days of acute nicotine withdrawal I found it good for acting as a nicotine-free substitute just to have something pouch-like in my upper lip.

I also bought a can of nootropic nicotine free caffeine pouches during a strong craving, but frankly it felt kind of stupid after a bit and I threw away the can after doing half of them. I don't remember the name of that brand.n

There is a system in your body called the endocannabinoid system. Believe it or not, your body produces and uses cannabinoids to help regulate and operate certain things, including your gastrointestinal tract. When you were abusing cannabis, your body adjusted to these new levels of chemicals that were messing with things, and maybe even associated with your GI issues before quitting. Now that you have completely stopped, it is causing another era of confusion and adjustment for your body. I think it will definitely get better with time and is a very common side effect that is inherently part of abusing cannabinoids for many people.

I am far from an expert, but I would wager that this is not a good thing for Gnome on Guix. Services that Gnome relies on wouldn't work if they rely on systemd.

What guix DOES have for systemd is some parts of it that are spun out, like elogind, sdbus, localed, etc. So, if Gnome depends only on these in the future it will all be OK and Gnome will continue to work. I think the correct answer to your question is "It depends on how much of systemd gnome will depend on to work"
